I have tried watching Paula and Rachel, but I just get hungry, never really motivated to cook. Krista gave me an apron which I look totally HOTT in, but doesn't make food magically appear on the table.
I have started baby-stepping to do more than the usual hot dogs, tacos and spaghetti. I have graduated to actually doing more than throwing the frozen skillet meal in the skillet. I have found this website that makes me look FABULOUS!!!!!
It has recipes, how-to's, places to save your favorites, so it's like your personal cookbook. It has recipes for CHOCOLATE MARTINIs and other boozy drinks!!!!!! Enough said.
The meals are easy and fast and really good. They don't make me sweat or my hair frizz while preparing them, so all is well. My husband has commented that he has more energy and my kids are now doing great in school. I have no idea what they are trying to tell me.

I asked for a personal chef, but he hasn't arrived yet.When he gets here, I am almost postive he will use myrecipes.com, too. Thanks for the tip...my problem is following recipes (the whole ADD thing). I like to be very creative when cooking. I can make the same thing over and over and it will always be new...thus far no one has died.

I am an awesome cook. I love this site, thanks for the link. I am a good cook, because I love to cook, and I love to eat really good food. I love the drink recipes. We get 6 bottles of wine a month from Williams Sonoma wine club and the taster's notes come with chef inspired recipes for pairing with each specific wine. It has some great (but Putzy) recipes in the book. It is a lot of fun (for me) and you get to drink the wine.
My sister only has a kitchen because it came with the house. She can't even make toast.

I am a wonderful cook. I like to cook! I like to spend an hour preparing dishes to make my hubby grin and realize again why he married me (well, one of the reasons anyway). This pattern of domestic divinity continued (with my home being very, very clean) until my second child Hannah, the ferocious monster was born.
Now I cook frozen ravioli, frozen pizzas, hamburgers, mac and cheese... see a pattern? Sigh. but no one around here is gettin' any thinner!

Ohhhh now THAT's what I should have asked for for Mother's Day... a personal chef (cause even if hubby cooks, my kitchen will be such a disaster that I'll wish he hadn't!) OK, I have to go daydream now about my personal 6-pack-ab-having chef with soulful eyes that say, "Aria, you are the wind beneath my wings" as he serves me up some... whatever the heck food, couldn't care less with that eye-candy in the kitchen...
